  • 3 cups white beans
  • 14 lb salt pork or 14 lb bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 13 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon dry mustard
  • water
  • 13 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Directions

    Pick beans over and soak overnight.

    Drain, then add chopped pork, onion, molasses, salt, pepper and mustard.

    Coverwith water and bake in a covered bean pot for about 6 hours at 300F Add water if beans are dry.

    Serve hot.
