  • 1 lb. navy pea beans
  • salt
  • onion salt
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 lb. brown sugar
  • pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • garlic
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1/4 lb. salt pork

Directions

    Pick over beans; cover with water overnight.

    Parboil and rinse.

    Put in dish over salt pork.

    Add all ingredients.

    Cover with water plus 1 inch.

    Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, then at 250° for 6 hours.
