  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 oz. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 doz. clams, ground
  • broth (from clams)
  • 1/4 pt. cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Heat sliced onion in the melted butter until onion turns yellow.

    Add flour, clams, broth and cream. Simmer this for 20 minutes. Stir in the eggs and enough bread crumbs to thicken. Place the mixture in a greased casserole. Top with buttered crumbs and bake in a 375° oven for 1 hour or until brown.
