- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 oz. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 doz. clams, ground
- broth (from clams)
- 1/4 pt. cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Heat sliced onion in the melted butter until onion turns yellow.

2Add flour, clams, broth and cream. Simmer this for 20 minutes. Stir in the eggs and enough bread crumbs to thicken. Place the mixture in a greased casserole. Top with buttered crumbs and bake in a 375° oven for 1 hour or until brown.
