- 1 (2 lb.) trout
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can unsalted stewed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. Mrs. Dash
- 2 slices bacon
Directions

1Melt margarine in skillet.

2Add onion and green pepper.

3Cook until almost done.

4Add tomatoes and basil to skillet.

5Let cook about 5 more minutes.

6Arrange fish in foil covered pan.

7Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash.

8Cut slits in top of fish.

9Insert bacon.

10Pour mixture from skillet over fish.

11Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350°.

12Serve with favorite vegetables.
