Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pkg. lasagna
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 to 4 cups of water
  • 2 large cans tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb. cottage or ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
  • 1 can mushrooms

Directions

    Cook lasagna according to package directions.

    Meanwhile cook ground beef in large heavy sauce pan until browned, drain grease. Add onion, garlic, parsley, mushrooms, water, tomato paste, pepper and salt.

    Bring to boil, turn heat low and let simmer gently for about 30 to 40 minutes.
