- 1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. grated cheese (preferably sharp Cheddar)
Directions

1Boil macaroni until tender.

2Drain thoroughly.

3Stir in butter and egg.

4Mix mustard with salt and 1 tablespoon hot water and add to milk.

5Add cheese to macaroni, leaving enough to sprinkle on top.

6Pour macaroni into buttered casserole.

7Add milk.

8Sprinkle with cheese.

9Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until top is crispy.
