  • 3 c. oatmeal (1/2 quick and 1/2 old-fashioned)
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. oil

Directions

    Mix the first 7 ingredients thoroughly.

    Then, mix the water, vanilla and oil and pour over first mixture and blend.

    Spread on cookie sheet with sides.

    Bake at 250° for 2 to 3 hours.

    Stir every 30 to 45 minutes.
