  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. bread or cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. milk

    In a 2 1/2-quart casserole, layer corn, salt, pepper, crumbs and cheese.

    Dot with butter.

    Repeat.

    Beat egg, sugar and milk together.

    Pour over corn.

    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cover for 1/2 hour, then uncover and top with paprika.
