Baked Mashed Potatoes

  • 5 whole Red Potatoes (medium-sized)
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cups Milk
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese

    Wash red potatoes and chop into large pieces the way you would if you were making mashed potatoes.

    Put potatoes in a pot just covered with water. Boil on medium high for about 15 minutes.

    Drain water and mix in butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix like mashed potatoes and put in an oven safe baking dish.

    Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 375 degree oven or until golden brown.
