- 4 large potatoes, baked
- 2/3 c. butter
- 2/3 c. flour
- 6 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 heaping Tbsp. chicken base
- 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Directions

1Cut baked potatoes into cubes, leaving skins on.

2Melt butter in saucepan on low heat.

3Add flour, stirring until smooth. Gradually add milk.

4Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Add potatoes, salt, pepper, onions, bacon, cheese and chicken base. Cook until heated thoroughly.

5Stir in sour cream.

6Add extra milk if soup is too thick.
