  • quail
  • 1/2 c. sherry or white wine
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper and thyme
  • 1/2 c. margarine

    Pan-fry quail until brown.

    Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.

    Pour over fowl.

    Cover with foil; bake at 350° for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender.
