Baked Rum Peaches

- 2 ripe peaches
- 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
- 4 crisp cookies, crumbled
- 1/2 c. whipped cream
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. rum
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Skin peaches.

3Cut them in half, remove the pit and place them cut side up in a buttered baking dish. Combine nuts, cookies, sugar and rum in a bowl.

4Divide the mixture among the cavities of the peach halves.

5Pour 1/3 cup water into dish and bake for about 30 minutes until peaches are tender.

6Serve hot with whipped cream, if desired.
