  • 1 (15 oz.) can spinach
  • 1 qt. sweet milk or 1 large can sweetened condensed milk and rest water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 raw eggs
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 7 slices bacon, cooked

Directions

    Boil spinach, sage and thyme in a little water, about 5 minutes. Put in colander and drain. Make a paste with flour and a little milk. Add eggs and beat. Put in milk and spinach. Put into greased baking pan using bacon grease. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. When firm, stir a little and cook 10 more minutes. Place bacon strips on top and brown.
