- 2 lb. squash
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Directions

1Wash and scrape squash.

2Slice into buttered baking dish.

3Add salt and pepper.

4Stir in bacon drippings and top with sliced onion.

5Cover and bake in medium oven at 350° to 400° for 20 minutes.

6Remove cover and continue to bake until squash is tender and juice has cooked out.
