  • 2 lb. lean beef, cut into pieces
  • 2 c. onions, diced large
  • 2 c. potatoes, large chunks
  • 2 c. carrots, large chunks
  • 2 c. celery, large chunks
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 5 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 c. V-8 juice

    In Dutch oven or roaster with tight fitting lid, layer ingredients in order listed.
