Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak, cubed
  • 5 to 6 stalks celery, cut
  • 1 large onion, sliced in quarters
  • 5 to 6 carrots, sliced in quarters
  • 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put steak in bottom of flat Pyrex.

    Add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over all a small can of tomato juice.

    Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour with dish covered tightly with foil.

    Cook potatoes separately.

    Serves 6.
