Baked Tomatoes

  • 5 medium, fresh tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1/3 c mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. dried dill seed

Directions

    Peel and core tomatoes.

    Cut tomatoes in half crosswise. Arrange in shallow baking dish.

    Sprinkle lightly with salt.

    Mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, nutmeg and dill.

    Pour this mixture over tomatoes.

    Bake in a 375° oven for 20 minutes or until tomatoes are tender.
