  • 4 c. ziti or other large macaroni
  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • garlic powder and garlic salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

    Cook ziti according to directions on package; drain.

    Brown meat and onion; drain.

    Stir in tomato sauce, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and herbs.

    Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
