- 16 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Brush a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan with melted butter.

2Fold a sheet of filo in half and carefully lay in pan.

3Brush with melted butter.

4Repeat for 6 layers.

5Sprinkle with nuts.

6Repeat until all ingredients are used and end with a pastry layer, brushed with butter.

7Cut in diamond shapes, 2-inches wide.

8Bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes.

9Reduce heat to 300° and continue baking for 30 minutes longer.
