- 3 c. pecans, chopped very fine
- 4 c. walnuts, chopped very fine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 large box filo dough
- 1 c. honey
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water with 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Lightly butter bottom of a 13 x 9-inch dish.

2Layer 9 sheets of filo dough with butter between layers.

3Spread 1 cup of nut mixture (sugar, nuts and cinnamon) on top layer.

4Sprinkle with butter. Layer 4 sheets of filo dough with butter between each layer and spread 1 cup nut mixture on top layer.

5Repeat 4 layers of buttered filo dough and nut mixture on top 5 more times.

6The last layer of filo dough is 9 sheets with butter between layers.

7Bake at 325° for 60 minutes.
