Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed with fork (about 1 c.)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels

Directions

    In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

    In large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.

    Beat in bananas and egg.

    Gradually beat in dry ingredients.

    Stir in chocolate mini morsels.

    Spread in greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.

    Bake in 350° preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool completely in pan on rack.

    Cut into bars or squares.

    Well wrapped, these freeze well!
