  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. mashed bananas
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sour milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Cream sugar and margarine.

    Add eggs and bananas.

    Combine dry ingredients; sift into mixture alternately with sour milk.

    Fold in nuts.

    Bake in an 8 x 4 x 3-inch greased pan at 325° to 350° for one hour.

    Remove loaf from oven; cool and then wrap in foil. Keep in refrigerator.
