- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sour cream or sour milk
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Beat butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy; stir in bananas. Sift flour, soda and salt onto wax paper.

2Add gradually to butter mixture and stir until well mixed.

3Add sour cream or sour milk; stir until smooth.

4Pour batter into well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

5Sprinkle top with chopped walnuts.

6Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until center springs back when touched.

7Cool 10 minutes on wire rack.

8Remove from pan.
