  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 whole Ripe Bananas, Mashed
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2-1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Mix in mashed bananas and eggs. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt until just mixed. Spread batter in a 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    This recipe has always worked perfectly for me at 45 minutes in several different ovens, although my mom swears it takes her 60 minutes, so be sure to check it often to find the baking time that works best for you.
