- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. walnuts
- 5 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 5 ripe bananas
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans.

3In large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.

4In small bowl, mix bananas, eggs, milk and oil.

5Pour liquid into dry ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into pans and bake 1 hour and 20 minutes until bread pulls away from side of pan.

6Poke with toothpick to check doneness.

7If toothpick is clean, bread is done.

8Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove.

9Makes 2 loaves.
