Banana Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 8 biscuits
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

Directions

    Use sufficient flour to roll out biscuits thin.

    Place 1/2 sliced banana on each biscuit.

    Combine cinnamon/sugar and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of mix and small slice of margarine on banana.

    Fold over edges of biscuits, pinching to seal.

    Place on a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

    Pour milk over and around biscuits.

    Sprinkle remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture, flour and margarine over biscuits and milk.

    Bake at 425° for 35 minutes.

    Sliced apples or grated coconut can be substituted for bananas.
