Banana Pudding

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (scant)
  • 3 egg yolks (save egg whites)
  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 4 or 5 bananas

Directions

    Beat the egg yolks and add 2 cups of milk.

    Add to the sugar and flour.

    Cook over medium/low heat and stir until as thick as desired, stirring constantly.

    Add vanilla.

    In a bowl, put a layer of vanilla wafers and layer of sliced bananas; pour cooled sauce over that.

    Repeat layers again; last layer should be wafers.
