Banana Split Cake

  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • chopped nuts
  • maraschino cherries
  • 5 or 6 bananas

Directions

    Mix 1 stick melted margarine with 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar and crumbs together.

    Put in bottom of large pan (13 x 9-inch).

    Mix confectioners sugar, eggs and two sticks margarine. Beat in mixer for 10 to 15 minutes until creamy and thick.

    Mix in drained pineapple.

    Place on top of crumb crust.

    Slice 5 or 6 bananas lengthwise.

    Lay on top of mixture.

    Stir up Cool Whip and place over top.

    Sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
