Banana Split Cake

  • 5 bananas
  • 3 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 c. whipped topping (2 envelopes Dream Whip or large carton Cool Whip)
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix 1/2 cup oleo, melted with graham cracker crumbs.

    Put into pan (9 x 13-inch).

    Beat egg, remaining oleo and powdered sugar for 5 minutes.

    Spread over crust.

    Cover with sliced bananas; spread crushed pineapple on that.

    Cover with topping.

    Put nuts and cherries on top.

    Refrigerate overnight or for 6 hours.
