  • 3 very firm bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Sweetened whipped cream

Directions

    Saute banana halves in butter in a large skillet until golden brown and tender. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Add wine, and simmer until sauce thickens. Serve bananas warm with whipped cream.
