Ingredients
- 10 sausages (I used beer soaked sausages)
- 8 red potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 2 tsp crushed/minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp steak seasoning
- 3/4 tsp powdered garlic
- 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
- 1/2 tsp peppercorn (ground)
Directions

1Coat grill grates with cooking oil.

2Syeam or boil potatoes until fork-tender.

3Add minced garlic while steaming potatoes.

4Heat grill to 375F.

5Cook sausages 10 minutes each side or until they look right to you.

6Mash potatoes over the butter, ensuring it mixes in.

7I used an apple corer because I don't own a masher and it worked gorgeously.

8Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

9Potatoes should be a little chunky; this is supposed to be a rustic meal.

10Plate potatoes.

11Add sausages on top right off the grill.

12I paired a Cabernet Savignon with the meal, but a stout or an Irish red would pair quite nicely.
