   add corn syrup, vanilla, salt and sugar. Heat enough to make a smooth mixture, but not hot.

   Beat eggs very well;

   syrup mixture, blending well. Add pecans and bake in unbaked pie shell at 350° for 35 to 55 minutes. When pie is browned and set, pie is done.
