  • 5 lb. stew beef or lean chuck, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large bottle Open Pit

Directions

    Place beef in a large pot and fill with water just to top of beef.

    Do not cover. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce to a simmer for 3 to 4 hours. Remove scum as it appears on top. Pour juice into bowl. Shred beef.

    Add juice and 1 large bottle Open Pit sauce.

    Simmer 1 hour, uncovered.
