Barbecue Beef Brisket

  • 3 to 4 lb. flat cut beef brisket
  • 2 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 tsp. onion salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. tenderizer
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 16 to 18 oz. jar Open Pit barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Rub salts, tenderizer, sugar and Worcestershire sauce on each side of brisket.

    Wrap brisket in foil and let marinate overnight. Bake at 250° for 4 hours.

    During last 1/2 hour, open foil and drain all but 1/2 cup juice.

    Add Open Pit barbecue sauce and brown sugar.

    Baste 2 to 3 times during last 1/2 hour.

    Slice diagonally.

    Pour desired amount of sauce over brisket slices.
