- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut into serving pieces
- batter just like you would fry
- oil
- barbecue
Directions

1Pour 3 teaspoons of oil into heavy skillet.

2When hot, add chicken, fry until brown, turn to other side to brown.

3When chicken is brown on both sides, drain off oil.

4Then put chicken back in pan. Pour barbecue over chicken, turn heat to simmer, cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is tender and done on the inside.

5Serve with a salad and vegetable of your choice.
