  • 2 c. buttermilk baking mix
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Mix biscuit mix and water to form a soft dough.

    Beat with a spoon for 20 strokes.

    Drop by spoonfuls into 12 medium ungreased muffin cups.

    Press dough on bottom and up sides of each cup with floured hands.

    Stirring frequently, cook ground beef, garlic and onion in a skillet until beef is brown; drain.

    Stir in barbecue sauce; heat through.

    Spoon mixture into cups; sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake at 400° about 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
