- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 pkg. dried lima beans
Directions

1Soak dried limas overnight.

2Boil until tender with ham bone or salt pork.

3Try out some salt pork in frying pan.

4Put 1 clove garlic and 1 onion (sliced) in fat and brown.

5Add 1 teaspoon salt, tomato soup, mustard, sugar and vinegar; stir and cook slowly 15 minutes.

6Put limas in layers alternately with sauce in casserole. Put browned squares of salt pork on top.

7Bake 45 minutes in a 350° oven.
