Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/4 c. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 lb. short ribs or spareribs

Directions

    Saute onion until soft in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer all for 10 minutes on low heat.

    Divide short ribs or spareribs for serving.

    Place in shallow pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours in a 325° oven.

    Brush every 1/2 hour with the sauce and turn. Serves 4 to 6.
