Barbecued Salted Cod

- 1 slice of salted fish (approx. 250g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
Directions

1With salted fish you have to place in cold water 24 hours prior to cooking to remove some of the saltiness.

2Change the water 2-3 times in that 24 period.

3Drain the cod well from the water prior to cooking.

4Set up your barbecue.

5And when its the right temperature place the cod on the grill.

6Grill on both sides for 5-10 minutes or until it has become slightly charred on each side and crispy.

7Then remove, place on a plate and using two forks de-bone and shred the cod.

8Drizzle olive oil and add the garlic over the shredded cod.

9You may add more oilve oil and garlic if you wish.

10Serve with a nice piece of crusty bread.
