- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup strong hot tea
- 1 egg
- 2 cups self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients together and leave in bowl overnight.

2Next day add egg and self-rising flour.

3Mix well.

4Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 350 .

5Slice when cooled and spread with butter.
