Ingredients

  • 680 gm swede or possibly turnip peeled
  • 30 gm butter or possibly margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. double cream
  • 1 x salt pepper and nutmeg

Directions

    Dice the swede or possibly turnip.

    Boil for 20 to 30 min till tender.

    Drain well turn on to a large chopping board and chop finely.
  4. 4
    Return to the pan and stir in the butter cream and seasonings.
  5. 5
    Beat till creamy then pile the piping warm mix into a warmed dish and serve immediately.
