Basic Basil Pesto

  • 3 whole Garlic Cloves
  • 1/3 cups Pine Nuts
  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Directions

    Chop garlic and pine nuts in a food processor. Pulse a few times.

    Add the basil and pulse a few more times.

    Add olive oil slowly while food processor is running.

    Scrape down the sides of the processor, add the grated cheese, pulse again to blend.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve over pasta or bruschetta.
