- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 1 lb. confectioners sugar, sifted
- 5 to 6 Tbsp. light cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter until fluffy; beat in sugar, a little at a time, adding alternately with cream.

2Mix in vanilla and salt and beat until satiny and of good spreading consistency.

3If mixture seems too stiff, thin with a little additional cream.
