- 2 c. skim milk
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- dash of nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1In medium-size saucepan over medium heat, bring milk, wine, pepper and nutmeg to a simmer, stirring to prevent scorching. Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
