- 1 1/2 cups long-grain rice, rinsed in a strainer
- Large pinch of salt
Directions

1Combine the rice with 2 1/4 cups water (or stock) and the salt in a medium saucepan with a lid and turn the heat to medium-high.

2Bring to a boil.

3Turn the heat to medium-low and cover.

4Cook for 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

5Serve or keep warm over absolutely minimal heat for up to 15 minutes.
