  • 2 sweet onions, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for tossing
  • 14 cup water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crouton
  • 12 cup gruyere cheese, grated
  • chopped fresh parsley

Directions

    Toss sliced onions with worcestershire sauce, water, olive oil, salt and pepper in a baking dish.

    Cover and roast at 425 degrees until tender, 25 minutes.

    Toss croutons and grated cheese with some parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper; sprinkle over the onions and bake 5 more minutes.
