Ingredients

  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. cold water

Directions

    Mix flour salt and shortening with a fork until shortening is the size of peas.

    Add cold water and mix until dough forms a ball.

    Divide in 1/2 and roll out on floured board or counter top. Makes 2 (9 inch) crusts.

    For prebaked crust place in pie pan and trim edges, prick bottom with a fork and bake at 425° for about 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
