- 1 small onion, peeled (whole)
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- leftover ham
Directions

1The night before beans are to be used, wash and sort dried beans.

2Wash 2 to 3 times, alternating between crock-pot and colander.

3When water runs clear, cover beans in crock-pot with about 2-inches of cold water. Add whole peeled onion.

4Turn crock-pot to low and allow to cook overnight.
