- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth or 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup dry sherry or 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions

1Combine all of the ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart mason jar with a tight fitting lid.
