- 1 1/2 c. loosely packed basil leaves
- 3/4 lb. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1In a food processor, chop the basil.

2Add butter, lemon juice and pepper; blend until smooth.

3Drop by half tablespoons onto a cookie sheet; freeze.

4Remove from cookie sheet and store in freezer bags.

5Use to flavor chicken, fish or vegetables.

6Makes 4 dozen butter balls.
